Based on regulations issued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in 2021, phone-only collections strategies are less effective than multi-channel strategies due to limitations in call volume and cadence. Time and time again, digital collections strategies are proving to be more effective in terms of cured delinquency and efficiency for collections operations. As collectors and creditors examine their annual operations, it is imperative that they consider the limitations they are placing upon themselves with phone-only strategies, and take action toward implementing multi-channel digital collections solutions.
